Abstract

This article describes a clinical case of ophthalmic manifestations of combined pathology of tuberculosis and HIV infection with ophthalmohypertension, which required symptomatic treatment by an ophthalmologist against the background of therapy for the underlying disease. The described visual complications were not accompanied by complaints for a long time due to the extra-macular localization of pathological foci, which dictates the need to consult an ophthalmologist in such combined pathologies.

Keywords: ophthalmohypertension, HIV infection, tuberculosis, choreoretinitis, case report.
