Abstract
A brief educational, clinical, research and pedagogical biography of the Russian doctor, doctor of medicine, professor of the Military Medical Academy, bacteriologist, Petrograd public mayor Yurevich V.A. is presented. His contribution to the development of gravitational blood surgery is shown.
