Abstract
To date, endovascular treatment of patients with acute coronary syndrome and acute cerebrovascular accident is the most effective method of treatment to reduce disability and mortality rates. This article presents a clinical case of treatment of a patient with intraoperative development of ischemic stroke. Despite the low incidence of ischemic stroke during percutaneous coronary intervention, the specialists of the department of Endovascular surgery must have the skills and a full range of tools to provide specialized care.
Keywords: percutaneous coronary intervention; acute coronary syndrome; acute violation of cerebral circulation; ischemic stroke; thrombectomy.
